Tape in Extensions - Tape hair extensions are temporary hair extensions that use double-sided tape to attach the extensions to a person's real hair. The tape comes in different types and strengths but is usually clear and flexible. Taped hair extensions are useful when one prefers a more discrete appearance, because the scalp is still visible after the application. Tape can be used for both human hair and synthetic extensions and allows one to reuse the hair more easily compared to more lasting hair extension methods. This makes taped extensions useful for many types of hairstyles.
Cutting - A hairstyle, hairdo, or haircut refers to the styling of hair, usually on the human scalp. The fashioning of hair can be considered an aspect of Personal grooming, fashion and cosmetics, although practical, cultural, and popular considerations also influence some hairstyles.
Up styling - An updo is a hair style that involves arranging the hair instead of allowing it to fall freely. It can be as simple as a ponytail, but is more commonly associated with more elaborate styles intended for special occasions such as a matric farewell, special function or wedding.
Make up - Makeup helps boost your confidence. You can hide your flaws, cover up any shortcomings and create an illusion of flawless beauty. From covering dark circles to contouring your face for more definition, makeup can do wonders. And when you look your best, you feel confident and as if you take on the world. And if makeup helps you build such a positive outlook on life, then that is a major benefit.
Mikro Keratin straightening treatment - Micro Keratin is a new and highly advanced keratin smoothing treatment, a first for the hair industry.
Olaplex treatments - Olaplex was developed by Dr. Eric Pressly and Craig Hawker, two of the world's leading chemists. This dream team invented a single ingredient chemistry, that is free of silicones and oils. Olaplex links broken bonds in the hair before, during and after chemical services.
Colouring - Hair coloring is the practice of changing the hair color. The main reasons for this are cosmetic: to cover gray hair, to change to a color regarded as more fashionable or desirable, to restore the original hair color after it has been discolored by hairdressing processes or sun bleaching.
High lights / Foils - Hair highlighting/lowlighting is changing a person's hair colour, using lightener or haircolor to color hair strands. There are four basic types of highlights: foil highlights, hair painting, frosting, and chunking. Highlights can be done in natural or unnatural colors. Color highlights come in four categories: temporary, semi-permanent, demi-permanent and permanent. Hair lightened with bleach or permanent color will be permanent until new growth begins to growth. Highlighted hair will make the hair appear fuller. Therefore, it is recommended on people with thin and fine hair. It also recommended for people with at least 50 % gray for easy blending and to diminish the line of demarcation once the new growth is showing.
Balyage - Balayage is a French word meaning to sweep or to paint. It allows for a sun-kissed natural looking hair colour – similar to what nature gives us as children – with softer, less noticeable regrowth lines. The principal idea being less is more when creating soft, natural looks. Balayage is applied on the surface and not saturated through the section until the very tips, otherwise you would have a streak of colour that isn’t vey soft at all. It can also be called a freehand technique because no foil or meche are used to create the highlights. It requires very little maintenance. It grows out beautifully and more naturally so you don’t get an obvious regrowth line and and can wear it for longer between appointments. All you really need to do is protect it as you would any other colour: use a colour protecting shampoo and conditioner, regular treatments and heat protection when styling.
Ombre - The hair world borrowed the term 'Ombre' from the french word meaning shaded or shading. Ombre hair colour is generally darker at the roots through the mid-shaft and then gradually gets lighter from the mid-shaft to the ends. It is usually achieved using a balayage technique and is ideal for clients looking for a low-maintenance style.
Baby lights - Babylights are delicate highlights created using a very fine hair color technique to mimic the subtle, dimensional hair color seen on children’s hair. "My clients often bring in photos of their children for inspiration, asking me to make their color look that fresh and natural. The result is subtle but beautiful,”
Rosegold - Rose gold is a tough color to define … it’s a beautiful blend of pink and red. It can also appear as a purple-y pink. You know it when you see it. And when you see it, it’s special.
Blow wave - Blow dry is a very important part of your hair routine and it has to be done properly for a perfect hairdo. The perfect blow dry technique is to gently dry your hair in a certain way that it looks lustrous and bouncy. When performed correctly, a blow dry will also eliminate frizz and make your hair look even and much more stable with less flyaways.
Perms - A permanent wave, commonly called a perm or "permanent", involves the use of heat and/or chemicals to break and reform the cross-linking bonds of the hair structure. The hair is washed and wrapped on a form and waving lotion or 'reagent' is applied. This solution reacts chemically softening the inner structure of the hair by breaking some of the cross links within and between the protein chains of the hair. The hair swells, stretches and softens, then molds around the shape of the form.
Mikro ring Extensions - Micro loop hair extensions are a type of hair extension attached by threading sections of natural hair through small loops to hold each extension securely in place. They are also known as micro ring hair extensions, and they are usually added in row patterns roughly 1 cm away from the scalp for the most natural appearance. The number and thickness of the micro loop hair extensions depends largely on the thickness and length of the natural hair. One main advantage of these hair extensions is that they are not applied with glues or bonding adhesives that can potentially cause hair breakage or even allergic reactions in some clients. These hair extensions also do not require the use of hot flat irons that can also damage natural strands.
